When manufacturing fragrances, the prime goal of a perfumer is to create such a customer experience that excites their olfactory senses with a delight. However, one must know that it isn’t just the pleasant smell of a perfume that makes a difference in its sales but exciting other senses of a person can help bring more attention to your product i.e., designing it with appealing colours and patterns using custom mailer boxes.

The box remains in its original form while the company’s logo is printed on it. Such a packaging design offers many benefits for branding purposes as one can pack different types of perfumed products in the same packaging instead of opting for individually designed boxes for different products. Therefore, making it affordable as well.

For a sense of personalization to the packaging, Le Labo has utilized a custom sticker printed with all the necessary information to be placed on the box. Additionally, the inside of the box is filled with tissue paper for padding and holding the bottle in place and prevent breakage.

Grandiflora

Magnolia Grandiflora Michel remains among the first line of perfumes launched by Grandiflora. Using a rigid box with a separate base and lid design and custom inserts, the company beautifully packaged their fragrance while protecting it from any damage. Grandiflora’s packaging design has utilized the print of the Magnolia flower, obviously inspired by the fragrance to keep up with the theme of flora-inspired perfumes.

The unique thing about their perfume packaging was that they added a slot to hold a card; adopting a creative approach to let the customers see the items inside of the Custom Packaging for small businesses.

Distilleries de Paris

Using a tray and sleeve box design, Distillerie de Paris has opted for a traditional perfume packaging approach. However, a unique one. Gold foil stamping is also used for the logo to make it stand out from the rest of the packaging.

F W Perfumes

With a simplistic packaging approach for fragrances, F W Perfumes has set a benchmark in the industry. The company only utilized a folding carton box with printed outside for their perfume packaging.  Easy to assemble, these boxes are lightweight which makes them perfect for storage and shipment purposes.

In order to offer an extra punch of colour and appeal, F W Perfume boxes are printed on the outside. Therefore, giving it a perfect appearance for display on shelves and increasing customer exposure.  So, these are some of the famous perfume packaging designs to take inspiration from.
